Knowledge Based Evolution, (KBE) was started in 1984 providing programming, and operational consulting, and production services to radio stations. Over the years KBE evolved and began to focus on working with small, emerging, and growth-stage businesses, primarily in the media, and technology spaces, helping to evolve business strategy, secure funding, and assist those companies that had strayed off course to get back on track.

KBE also developed, and commercialized its own products and services, spinning off several companies. KBE's innovations included: The MFlow music scheduling software, RTx a remote-broadcast-transmitter monitoring service, launched with the Morningstar Radio Network, and Actual Radio Measurement, Inc., a technology-based radio ratings company. Other initiatives included: Virtual Ventures Group International, an early online community helping to match startups with investors, Videon, a company developing test-prep tutorial videos for standardized tests, the award-winning Addictions radio program syndicated via satellite from studios in Detroit, Radio Tropico Internacional, an early satellite radio venture in Mexico serving the tourism industry, and Innova Internet Research Technologies, an early web-based research system.

After 22 years of innovation, KB merged his entrepreneurial efforts with others in close orbit. This motley crew founded InterTerra New Media Group. The adventure continues!
